New York has always been a melting pot for music! In the 50s Latin music fell in love with Jazz, and Jazz fell in love with these Afro Cuban rhythms! During the 60s many Nu Yorican artists were heavily influenced by the sounds around them in the streets & clubs of the Big Apple. Doo Wop, Soul & Funk are heavily present in many latin music recordings from the 60s & this mix focuses on some of the rarest sweet grooves that came from that era! Recorded from 100% vinyl.
